The challenge

Farmers want to maximize yields using minimal water resources. Without the use of in-field temperature and soil moisture sensors to respond to changing conditions, they do not have the data to maximize their crop yield.

Our solution

ConnectedCrops, an IoT edge device with configurable sensors, was developed as an easy-to-use, cost effective solution for farmers to introduce remote sensor technology for monitoring weather and soil conditions in real-time through a mobile app. The solution allows farmers to monitor their crop conditions even while away from the farm and receive alerts when conditions have changed and action is required.
